For foreign students who wish to learn Romanian so that they can later attend a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral study program in Romanian anywhere in the country, the Bucharest University of Economic Studies organizes The Preparatory Year of Romanian Language for Foreign Citizens - a one-year accredited study program designed to help participants learn general and specialized Romanian language, increase awareness of issues related to Romanian culture and civilization, and develop basic oral and written communication in Social Sciences, Biological and Biomedical Sciences, or Engineering Sciences.
