History
April 6, 1913 is a significant date in the history of Romanian economic higher education, as it is the date when the Academy of High Commercial and Industrial Studies was established in Bucharest by Royal Decree no. 2972. In the year 1967, the University was renamed as Bucharest University of Economic Studies.
