EFMD International Accreditation for ASE Faculty
Novelty for Romanian economic education: The Bucharest University of Economic Studies obtains, through its Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages (FABIZ), the first accreditation of a business faculty in Romania, granted by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), one of the most prestigious international bodies in the field of management education. The EFMD Accreditation is granted for the following study programs organized by FABIZ: the Bachelor's programs in Business Administration (taught in English, French, and German) and the Master of Business Strategy and Leadership.
The EFMD Accreditation reflects the quality of the curriculum, teaching staff, research activities undertaken by each program, as well as cooperation with the business environment, student experience, and the impact on the careers of graduates. Congratulations! Photo...

Academic partnership between ASE and MTU Baghdad
On July 2, 2026, ASE's Rector, PhD Prof. Nicolae Istudor, received a visit from a delegation from the Middle Technical University in Baghdad, Iraq, led by PhD Prof. Wadhah Amer Hatem, President of the university. The meeting was also attended by PhD Prof. Constantin Marius Profiroiu, ASE's Vice-rector for International Relations. Discussions revolved around our common interest in strengthening academic cooperation relations, and developing impactful projects in the field of education and research.
It was agreed to initiate steps towards signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and an Erasmus+ Agreement, which will create the institutional framework for the development of academic mobility and joint projects, including academic exchange at Doctoral school level. Moreover, talks focused on the possibility of developing a double degree program in business and international relations, as well as the initiation of a training program in economic diplomacy.
The meeting is aligned with ASE's endeavors to expand international partnerships and develop academic cooperation that create new opportunities for students, academic staff and researchers. Photo gallery...
